I don’t think Adam and his incompetent PR realized there’s a big problem with that? You see, Benedict should still be in quarantine because there are no direct flights from NZ to the UK. NextJet dropped him off at LAX which automatically put him on the red list. There are WCs on ferries too, Ben has had his own flat on the IoW for years plus he owns multiple properties on the mainland. Technically he should be confined to one place and not be engaging in any non-essential travel, just ask Dominic Cummings. If it’s for legal etc matters however…

I do remember him talking about surfing in an interview when he was at Comic Con for The Lord of the Rings. Him and Adam were surfing on the day he took off from the Con, and they helped out some inexperienced surfers out of the big waves.

Pap wise he was staying at some celeb popular hotel (Breakers?) and he was papped reading a book on the balcony. There was another photo of the hotel window where you could see a dark haired woman and everyone was trying to figure out if it was zero, but it was thought to be someone else.

Surfboards proper are narrower and far more difficult to use BTW. The Breaker’s the celebrities go to is in Long Beach and Palm Beach, I don’t recall him doing a convention there. He’s stayed at Shutters in Santa Monica, Hard Rock and the Hilton during SDCC. The very blonde Kinvara Balfour bragged about traveling there with him in 2014. I don’t think the surfing photo is him *shrugs* Just mistaken identity. He doesn’t normally bother straightening his hair unless it’s for a role. TBH PR reps don’t spend time doing damage control for fandoms nor do they really try to ‘run’ them. What they call ‘built-in’ fans don’t merit the attention. Dear PR intern, we aren’t necessarily blaming your firm. There are certain shall we say hostile parties who try their damnedest to steer the narrative in their favor. They have their own PR help, an insider told me as much. This isn’t about making Benedict look good, it’s not about even giving him simple exposure either. It’s all about their interests, we’ve already caught them staging shit, posting old photos as if they were recent, Photoshopping them, even using lookalikes. It’s really pathetic at this point and showcasing anything Isle of Wight related only favors Team Soso. In this case Adam by extension because he’s desperate to promote The Courier and brokered a deal with SoFail to use the ShamWow to generate publicity. We know that he also got involved with her family’s money laundering and drug trafficking business that’s based out of the Isle of Wight!

I could be getting this all wrong, but it seems like months go by without a word about BC or zero, then suddenly there’s a big rush of stuff, mostly generated by nannies’ claims and skeptics’ rebuttals, then more silence. What a way to run a fandom, right? LOL

Cool idea but it also sounds like a veiled threat on behalf of the Beeb. Holmesboy dun fucked up…or was it Karon? We got Sherlock articles leading all the way up to the 10 year anniversary, then nothing? This degree of unprofessionalism isn’t Benedict’s style but it is hers, especially if she got told off. I figured Karon sold out to Team Soso ever since I saw this. This type of PR sabotage must never be tolerated again.

No Ben can’t simply start a Go Fund Me page, it doesn’t work that way. No he can’t single handedly solve the financial crisis LAMDA is going through. They raise money through tuition and fundraisers. Problem is, they can’t do any because of the pandemic. There’s also the fact that many of the institutions contributing to LAMDA are all in the red because of the pandemic. Try using your brain for once.

Exactly. Much as Eddie Redmayne and other rivals of his backing SoFail would have liked? Benedict’s career isn’t quite dead…yet. His star has faded but he’s still under contract with Marvel Studios for at least a year and a half more. Phase 4 is hinging on DS2 so they are worried about how the massive scandals up ahead will affect their investment. OP seems to forget that the general public does care about the terrible crimes that Epstein’s network has committed. Let’s face it, SoFail makes Benedict look guilty AF by association but the Rat prefers to end the ShamWow with as little drama as possible. That being said, they will blow it wide open if the parties involved don’t cooperate. In their own words, the Rat is so legally insulated that they could survive in outer space! As an aside, the BBC also wants the Sherlock franchise to continue but S5 won’t happen until this mess is completely resolved.
