It’s heartbreaking to see so many arts organizations struggling. I hope B can help out in some way, but it’s not up to one person to save the day. I’m hoping that the board, instructors, students, and alumni can come up with some creative ideas for fundraising (auctions, table reads, streaming events, etc.) Best wishes for LAMDA to find a way forward.

Stop trying to absolve him of responsibility, it’s his duty. As President, he’s an important decision maker and he can help sway the others. If he pitched in for the likes of XR and other questionable causes he sure as fuck can do the same for LAMDA. Teachers that have been there for 40+ years are seniors by now, subject to age discrimination in an already competitive job market. Don’t they at least deserve special consideration? Apparently not.
