She tends to do whatever she wants but likely avoids giving interviews to look less dimwitted than she already does. But she does not keep quiet, she talks to journalists and anyone who she thinks can give her a leg up. I don’t think he’d have too many problems with a successful (and sane) civilian SO because they wouldn’t be in direct competition with one another. When you are both vying for publicity you will inevitably step on each others toes and that causes resentment. I mean, RDJ doesn’t have to worry about Susan trying to steal his spotlight…
