Actually Nonny? It’s looking more and more like Sophie Hunter’s lover Andrew Staples helped her land that gig! Did she threaten to show his wife a sex tape? Andrew Staples and William Reynolds who did all the heavy lifting on the ‘Turn of the Screw’ musical installation (calling it an opera would be generous), have worked with Glyndebourne Opera. As such they would definitely know ex Glyndebourne Director Sebastian Schwarz who just became Director of the Regio di Torino about a year ago. I’m *dying* over here…
