The LAMDA Crisis

Absolutely. It’s not just him, but he’s the one we know has people reading our blogs…

Stop trying to absolve him of responsibility, it’s his duty. As President, he’s an important decision maker and he can help sway the others. If he pitched in for the likes of XR and other questionable causes he sure as fuck can do the same for LAMDA. Teachers that have been there for 40+ years are seniors by now, subject to age discrimination in an already competitive job market. Don’t they at least deserve special consideration? Apparently not.

No Ben can’t simply start a Go Fund Me page, it doesn’t work that way. No he can’t single handedly solve the financial crisis LAMDA is going through. They raise money through tuition and fundraisers. Problem is, they can’t do any because of the pandemic. There’s also the fact that many of the institutions contributing to LAMDA are all in the red because of the pandemic. Try using your brain for once.

Yeah, they are fucking morons. SoFail’s still getting paid to do fuck all (as usual) even in the middle of a pandemic! I know for a fact that she gets more than a LAMDA FT faculty staff member’s yearly salary each month. How many jobs could that save? 15-20? She had the nerve to use some shady ass GoFundMe as a PR mill not long ago so don’t give me this crap. If some rando like Captain Tom Moore raised millions on top of his own donation an A-Lister like Benedict can do the same for his own school! If this doesn’t change people will start seeing through the fake philanthropy…

I really don’t think you understand what Ben’s role is with LAMDA. But that’s not surprising coming from you. Haven’t you made a big enough fool of yourself already?

Did you not see that he’s one of the decision makers? I mean, I do understand reading comprehension is not a nanny strong point, but still. Oh, and why doesn’t he use his birthday, etc. and trying to raise money so they won’t have to lay anyone else off? Do a Go fund me or something. I mean, he could even donate to it…oh wait…he’s lost a ton of money since getting married…well, why not use some of the Letters Live performances to raise money for it? Of course, we’re STILL waiting for the financials to be disclosed…hey Shaun Usher, maybe you could help?!

Oy vey…“married” not married 🤨. Instead of laying off productive members of society fire SoFail! Instead of burning money on that good-for-nothing, Benedict can start acting like LAMDA President by donating that same amount to his Alma Mater. It’d probably keep the whole damn school afloat for another year until this pandemic passes. You know who did something like that for a struggling theatre company? Helen Mirren, what a class act she is.
