“What do you do with fear?” That is a terrible question for a white woman to ask a Native person. If I was answering the ‘listener’, I would do so thus, “For one, you avoid people you fear, like the people that enslaved and decimated my race, like you and other white people”. That was a culturally and emotionally insensitive question for her to ask. It only goes to show how inappropriate she was for this event.
