Frankly I’d rather pay to watch the story of how Harvey Weinstein screamed, raged and bullied Cumberbatch into making this sh_t soup, or read a detailed account of the strategy of his previous bizarre Weinstein Oscar campaign (The Imitation Game) before I’d pay to go see this film.

HW was determined to ride Ben to an Oscar. He nearly ran the guy into the ground last time on that Oscar junket which didn’t work. Even if this film is good, I think there’s an Academy bias toward Ben. They will make him wait a hundred years and then give it to him for something not that good as a sop. Also I think Ben had some inkling. I think he got his wife from Harvey. You are right about the story we’d most like to see.“
Harvey’s bullying tactics toward actors are being outed too. Are his forced showmances going to come to light also?
Translation: BC was saddled with Uncle Harvey’s sloppy seconds for failing to deliver an award. I don’t think BC had any idea of the disaster that lay ahead when he signed that TWC contract. HW gambled by using a whore from his own stables as RCGF and everyone lost.
