I had this whole rant I typed after seeing from a link from Anna’s post that showed most of the drama was happening on tumblr, not twitter, and the really nasty attacks towards this girl. I deleted it before posting because I really need to stop ranting about the antis, but I will share this tidbit:
One of the bible stories from my Christian days that still interests me is the one of the Pharisees and the whitewashed sepulchers. Human nature hasn’t changed, and pharisees still exist.
We keep telling them the Antis and some Ubers are a problem. We like BC’s work but that doesn’t stop us from criticizing his PR’s incompetence and the naivete of his superfans. We’ve even caught Team Soso using some of those same fans against him. What we don’t do is fight over some celeb’s attention like starving dogs over biscuits. The Antis/Ubers will literally rip other fans apart if their Cumberlord shows a marked preference for them. This ranges from giving a prank-calling kid an extra minute of his time to offering some poor girl a fucking water bottle…
