Diversionary rhetoric doesn’t work. There are grades of hypocrisy Benedict, it is one thing to dress up the truth another to lie outright. When your disingenuousness reaches an unacceptable level you should expect to get called out on it, especially as a public figure. You are an XR (brand) ‘Ambassador’, that tells me you that you are being paid to promote them.
