Ben and Sophie had known each other (as casual friends/acquaintances) for years, and they dated secretly/privately for at least a year (evidenced by Ben’s frequent trips to NY, and the rumours about him dating a brunette) before they took the relationship public. They only took the relationship public when it became marriage-level serious. And there’s zero evidence Sophie knew Weinstein, and the lie about her being an escort has been well debunked.

That’s true to some extent but a bit more complicated because SoFail wasn’t (and isn’t) pregnant. HW did a last minute PR swaparoo with another Hoe of his named Rosie Joy Glover, who now lives in Rotherham with her two kids BTW. She tried to pull a ‘DR’ thinking that she could take SH’s RCGF job away. The enGAGment announcement wasn’t at ‘12 weeks’ and it was pre-emptive damage control.
