I personally find most leading men boring. I prefer a great character actor, myself. But I can’t get the context thing out of my head regarding that quote.
It’s not a matter of reaching the very top of the pyramid, you literally have to sell your soul in an industry that competitive. The sad thing is that BC gambled and lost. He was healthy and happy and nearing his own zenith when tragedy struck in the form of the ShamWow. Instead of making good on their promises HW and UTA only precipitated his decline. He would have gone a bit higher and stayed there for a good while. The better your reputation and the more stable your career the better it bodes for it’s longevity. It’s what BC said he truly wanted but now that too is in jeopardy. Were it not for the Rat’s helping paw he’d be flat lining right now…
