So you’re so intimate with BC’s circle that you know where the balance of favours and friendships lie. You know who might have lent him their holiday home, who got him vo work when he had no income, who bailed him out and who he’ll help because he values their friendship and advice. Reading at a succesdful book event for a friend ( a well connected, very old friend btw) is what people do. Esp. when that friend is helping you put together the funding for a play in the autumn.

ORLY? Letting someone crash at your place and giving them a lift? That’s it? Here I thought you gave him a fucking kidney! I’m old to people who put in the minimum to sweeten you up only to demand payment (nicely of course) later on with exorbitant interest. That isn’t friendship my dear, that is an imbalanced association based on pure convenience…don’t confuse the two ;). As for securing funding? I’m not quite as well connected as you seem to be but where I’m from doing so isn’t difficult at all, plenty of takers. You’ve been the one ‘advising’ and enabling him? To do what? Self-destruct? By rolling over for his worst enemies and pissing off the Rat? Fuck you. As the saying goes, “With friends like you who needs enemies?”. As long as you reap the benefits who cares right? We do.
