I remember that quote B said about JLM “a wife to keep in good clothes”. First off it indicates that a wife lives off her husband and second off that she dosen’t earn enough money to buy “good clothes” for herself.I think that is just how BC thinks that it’s OK for his wife to live off him if she provides the “traditional” wife and kids role and he goes out bread winning.Plenty of couples live their life like that but a woman’s only identity being through the man she married seems wrong to me.
Anyway,plenty of BC quotes have come back to bite him,of course the “I’can get just anyone pregnant” is the stand out for me.The other thing is most can downgrade on their standard of life if they want,less work,more time with family,more chill time,BC has choices,he just dosen’t seem to action what he says.
He was in a passive aggressive way faulting JLM for bankrolling his wife’s extravagant tastes. It was less of a joke and more of a veiled insult. No “misinterpretation” there. You have to understand that BC can be quite miserly. He always dated women that could pay their own way. Remember that he was pressured into the ShamWow and that he resents SH. She gets paid merely for pretending the marriage is real which means she doesn’t do much of anything for him. Why do you suppose she’s been complaining about her fauxmance stipend? It’s pretty obvious that BC does not want to pay for SH’s designer clothes. She has to earn them herself by shilling for designers on RCs and pap walks.
