He’s never ever said ‘my son’ either, its always been my child, newborn, life form, and other things. I kept waiting for him to say ‘the child’ just like Parades End. Sopster is never included even though its her pillow and not his. Even when he was trotting her around and there were articles trying to make them a power couple he never said ‘our’ it was always ‘my’. It was like she was just a vessel for his some kind of baby, somebody who came into this world.
