Recently surfaced photo that seems to have gone along with the “Brit Art” Evening Standard interview in 2004, when Sophie had a part in Vanity Fair and was being tipped to be the next Sienna Miller. (Never happened.)
But she hates the cameras and never wanted to be famous, guys! 😂😂

Love the outfit and she looked really pretty. I love bold coloured tights. I have them in yellow and bottle green lol. Being the next Sienna Miller shouldn’t be anything to look forward to, so maybe she refused to hahaha Seriously, I think BC would never had married a famous actress as he needs his woman to stay at home and look after the progeny. He sort of said so himself (his vague blabbing about teamwork surely didn’t mean HE would stay at home lol).
I think she tried to be one of those fashiony it girls in her twenties but it just didn’t catch on. I think her interest in the arts is genuine but she’s never had much drive to succeed with her own projects. After she hit thirty and the work wasn’t coming she tried something else.
I agree with you about BC marrying someone with a high powered career. I just can’t see it happening. He needed someone who would slot into his life and she couldn’t really have a busy career of her own. It just wouldn’t have worked. We’ve heard tons of stories about BC being so obsessed with work and self-centred that he couldn’t really get seriously involved with someone.

I’ve never seen either of those photos before. I think they are circulating now because certain people are trying to make it look like she had a hot modeling career in 2004, which is just not true. She had a (small) role in Vanity Fair, the Evening Standard did a profile, and they took some photos of her wearing pretty clothes to run alongside it. You might as well say Meryl Streep is a model! If you actually bother to read the article, it says:
At 15, she was briefly distracted by modelling [emphasis mine] (she is 5ft 9in and built like a string bean). But she moved smoothly on to Oxford and now she is relishing the prospect of premieres and red carpets.
I do love the purple tights though. I hadn’t noticed the color because at this point I just assumed she was born wearing black ones LOL
There’s no way she’s 5’9, she barely looks 5’8. And no, I’m not accusing her of lying, just the reporter/interviewer getting it wrong. And I don’t think even she tried to talk up modelling, she’s emphasised her work in the arts but I haven’t seen much about her trying to say she was some blooming model to be. That one died pretty quickly methinks, I think she’s definitely always been into the arts. Agree that it seems like she’s not much of a self starter. The interest is there, but the drive isn’t. I understand, I’m the same way. I’m talented in most artistic aspects but since the ED took control I lost the drive to do much about it. Maybe something happened in her life that stopped her from going as hard at it.
