I think that Oscar Isaac is the new Tumblr “it boy” and he should get every part. The director and PTB wanted BC, so they hired BC.
Oh there were a few other actors that Marvel fans preferred over BC. BC’s got himself to blame for this wave of antipathy though. Like him as I might, I still think Marvel could have groomed a talented unknown like John Wells into another “it boy”. He is an award winning indie actor that even looks the part:
