Let’s take a moment to “appreciate” SH’s new work: a woman’s 15 minutes long, poinson-triggered journey to death. WOW, so octopus 2.0. Perfect play for your summer holidays – will def cheer you up :D

And even this is the reaction to SH’s new project! “Ruby is sooo GOOD!” “I love how Ruby sings!” “Oh….and Sophie’s direction is going to be…interesting.”

I’m sure Sophie’s work ethic would be absolutely inspiring to all the single mothers out there working to make ends meet with their minimum-wage jobs and crappy child care options!

Cue George W Bush sound clip whining “it’s hard work!!!”. Do I also see some capitalization of her new fame with her directing credit in the headline? No one cares who is directing a 15 minute piece in the middle of nowhere.

I’m sure her work effort would be even more inspiring if she gave credit to the right people on her CV and didn’t take all the credit for productions she:
1) Wasn’t involved in
2) Played a minor role in.

So nobody’s going to discuss the fact that to watch this performance “the audience members are going to be guided along winding, overgrown paths and into the most unexpected of spaces:  the gladiatorian pit of a vast equestrian stadium”?

OK, I’ll take the part of that bitch who thinks this sounds pretentious as fuck with pleasure!

So… what happens if it rains? Will the audience want to “be guided along winding, overgrown paths and into the most unexpected of spaces: the gladiatorian pit of a vast equestrian stadium” when it’s muddy, rainy and damp?

I hope that “the gladiatorian pit of a vast equestrian stadium” has comfortable seating and a sturdy roof so everyone doesn’t get drenched (that would be rather embarrassing) during the performance.

Phaedra’s based on a Greek tragedy so start praying to Zeus y’all:
