Dearly beloved, we are gathered here together to witness the union between this mighty television series, Sherlock, and its devoted (not to say obsessive) fans,
Ballsy: There is SO much wrong with this. I don’t even know where to start. :S
Oh I know! This:
“
The fans look dishevelled,
gawky, ramshackle, homespun, whatever. He, on the other hand, looks brilliant
in every single one, shimmering straight down the lens, imbuing the photo
sausage factory with a bit of dignity.”
And they posted this particular fan pic in there:
SH looks quite ‘dishevelled, gawky, ramshackle etc.’ herself when WoofWoof isn’t there to dress her. Couldn’t even put on earrings, makeup or comb her damn hair at PSFF! Squid’s PR is behind this, I am sure of it. She’s not happy for some reason and she is causing trouble for BC again. The property article, IoW etc. is her too. This DM article seems to praise BC but it reads more like thinly veiled shade. Putting the above “brilliant” photo and dissing the Sherlock fandom does not help BC in any way. How is losing more loyal fans than ever (by extension future revenue) and having a bunch of people desperate to sell off their Hamlet tickets a good thing? Vincent was so right about Squid…
“He makes a reference to his new wife, which draws oohs and aaahs from the floor. ‘I know lots of brilliant people. My wife is very brilliant,’ he says. What about impending fatherhood? ‘I’m very excited about that.’”
BC didn’t specifically mention SH, didn’t say‘wife’ and he didn’t call her ‘very’ brilliant either in that sentence. We’ve got witnesses! Left out the bit about shark in the park too, I see…
