Seems to me Martin and Ben actually didn’t like each other as people outside of a professional connection/chemistry for the show, which was amazing. Maybe Ben is bisexual, but he clearly loves the ladies. What are you on about with them so many years later?

I don’t think Freeman is a good example tbh. If your nonnie knew about his career they’d know he was going to be the next big thing a couple of times and it didn’t happen e.g. after the Office and after Hitchhikers. And even now in his home market he’s the bloke who shills phone contracts in the advert breaks as all his tv has been on pay for view minority channels.

One of the organizers of the past tense named event honoring a foreign television show starring a foreign-born dual threat A-list actor says he was always lovely. He loves the fans and would never say no to any request BUT, was also the reason the event barely made any money because of his security demands and what he charged for appearances. Who was the worst cast member to deal with? This foreign born recurring actor on the show who has been nominated/won a lot of the UK big awards. He says no more often than yes to the requests of fans and is generally rude to all fans and you can tell he only does the event for money.

His security demands and what he charged for appearances: Hiring bodyguards to ‘protect’ him from the watchers, enforcers etc. working for Team Soso…the irony is strong in this one. His agents and blackmailers demanded a sizeable cut so blame them for the hefty fees.

I agree that one reason is definitely harassment by the OTT Stannies who were Johnlockers and/or disappointed with the direction Sherlock took. What PR is trying to brush under the carpet, however, is just how badly BC’s fauxmance related BS wrecked the working relationship on Setlock:

And Marvel makes its stars go to all sorts of cons, all the time. So I don’t understand your “disgusting” comment. The reason he can go to this particular con, even though he’s “working”, is because Marvel wants him to. And he probably won’t be the only one from the Avengers there. Marvel will let you off filming if it’s for their promo.

Nonny forgot that BC attended a Marvel and a Sherlock panel at a Comic Con last year. Like it or not Sherlock is on hiatus and BC is busy moving onto other projects/franchises…just like MF is.
