Whatever happened to that very Millennialesque trend, “Free Range Kids” parenting style? You know, parents allowed their young kids to wander the city alone. [Resist Rules!!] Has it morphed back into having “floppy kids”? Like Aerosmith”s “Ragdoll”? Too much work involved to develop future anarchists.

LOL, floppy or fainting kids? Free-range and Helicopter parenting are two unhealthy extremes. Furthermore they don’t work! I see too many badly behaved kids and as soon as they hit puberty the problems only get worse. My parents set the rules early on and only disciplined me when I crossed certain boundaries. They were strict where it mattered while still allowing me to be a kid.
