The anickpass blog still confuses me. I just can’t help but wonder if it was started as a personal blog (hence the name) and the fleur fleur mirror blog was created around French Open. And the fact pictures were clearly passed from annickpass to the SH fan tumblr accounts makes me wonder. I never took screenshots when it first came to light in August but it seemed to ramp up SH promotion after it was discovered. Prior to that, it appeared French-centric with SH on the edges. Whatever the truth is behind the BC/SH relationship (and I really have no clue), I feel certain of this: that blog was used as a means to control SH’s image. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have gone through so many name changes and lockdowns. And the owner of that blog clearly got images from the Instagram accounts of SH’s friends. I didn’t pay attention, but were those accounts open until “skeptic” blogs picked up the images? In other words, they didn’t mind when pictures were circulated by anickpass and Benophie but did they mind only when they appeared here? Don’t know the answer but sure others do.
