Do you know Derren Brown and some of his shows, like The Assassin? Does he use techniques used in programming, or do you think there’s any connection?

unwelcome-ozian:

In Derren Brown’s show The Assassin,  he designs an experiment to determine the plausibility of Sirhan Sirhan’s claim that he has no recollection of the events leading up to or his actual assassination of Robert Kennedy.  Brown’s experiment uses hypnosis.  Theories in hypnosis state that people can be made to do something in a trance state, but they cannot be hypnotized to do something to which they would not be agreeable.  Derren Brown in the show Assassin shows how through various suggestions made in trance states, a person is made to not recognize their action goes against their agreeable limits and the person does not remember their actions. Like what occurs on the show, things like planting sensory cues to trigger dissociative states, planting behavior suggestions within dissociative states, and creating amnesia and gaps in time so that people cannot remember what has happened do occur in programming.  In trauma based mind control programming, these techniques may be used on alters or groups of alters.  The dissociative barriers are created through the use of torture and drugs.  TBMC programming is deeper and designed to hold longer than what was depicted on the show.

I have watched just a couple other of his shows.  Brown seems to have much understanding of the brain’s relationship to thinking and behaviors.  He seems aware of many of the techniques for controlling groups of people or individuals.
