Easiest way
Flour, baking powder, milk.
Measurements don’t really matter, just put a cup or two of flour in. About a tablespoon or two per cup. Pour in some milk and mix it with your hands. if it’s too wet add more flour and powder, if it’s too dry add more milk. You want it to be tacky but not stick to anything. Knead it for awhile to get it there too about five minutes. I slap it around.
Once that’s ready let it rest up, put your oil on medium high heat and let it heat up. Grab a chunk of dough and roll it into a ball then stretch it and turn it to flatten it out to about the size of your hand palm open or bigger. Drop it into the oil and cook for a minute or two each side. They cook up fast. Put on a cookie rack or paper towels to drain the oil. Repeat until finished.
Lather em up in butter, honey butter, jam, taco meat and fixins or anything else you want on em.
