Would I lose a friend over a difference of opinion in politics? No.
But I would lose a friend over a difference in ethics, morality, justice, integrity, the rule of law, and common human decency. Some lines can’t be crossed. There are some things too wrong to be overlooked. There are words, beliefs and behaviors too dangerous to be ignored.
