I have a very wealthy relative who is extremely well connected politically and has a lot of powerful connections. He’s a family man and genuinely good person. Soho house used to beg him to become a member. He always declined. Why? Because he knew they were trash. I know people who have Soho members here in my city. All of them are wannabes with money. They also do a lot of coke. I don’t associate with them outside of work. IMO Soho is set up to bribe the powerful by using the desperate.
