Transiting Sun in Cancer opposite Saturn in Capricorn 07/2019 Birthday Blues
As Cancers celebrate their birthday and solar return, transiting Saturn moves to oppose their natal Sun, so it can feel more like a ‘doomsday’ than a birthday. But you cannot have a birth without a death, and whenever somebody dies another person is born, and this happens inside of you too. These are just the parts of you that have been lost, forgotten, and excluded, and are now just surfacing to mourn your birthday celebrations they were absent from.

This is the final time that transiting Sun in Cancer will oppose Saturn in Capricorn for 30 years. So, we don’t really have the permission go limp in these recollections but rather work through them. Saturn says, “don’t fight such memories, let them, feel them, see these cannot be touched, they don’t fit into your world anymore, they are not welcome anymore, let them know they have served their purpose, but like all visitors must leave,” as Cancer is the residence of our ancestors and spirit guides, and Saturn guards our inner elder, we can say a silent prayer or dream a dream inside and call for their guidance and loving support
