What my friends never noticed :
- When I retained water and I thought I was enormous
- Whether I gained or lost that one pound
- If I had what I deemed “too many” calories
What they did notice :
- That my skin was grey
- That my sentences made no sense
- That my legs wouldn’t carry me properly
- That I never laughed anymore
- That my eyes were empty
- That I was a total bitch (starvation does that to you)
- That I’d never hang out with them anymore
No one cares about weight and numbers and calories, only us. No one notices these tiny things. People care about your personnality and your well-being. You have the right to eat, you NEED to eat. You deserve to be fully alive. Recovering (and gaining weight) is the only way.
