I am a left-leaning moderate and to answer your question I am mostly pro-choice. I think abortions should be done as early, safely and humanely as possible. Educate the parent/s so that they make an informed decision. Many people are emotionally traumatized by the experience, let’s not ignore that. You are killing a nascent human being not a mere ‘clump of cells’ so the ethical thing to do is to minimize it’s suffering as well. I can’t stand blame shifting, both partners are equally responsible for birth control. I am in favor of mandatory court admissible noninvasive prenatal DNA testing in order to stop the epidemic of paternity fraud. No one should be hoodwinked into raising and/or paying one cent for a child that isn’t theirs. I don’t favor late term abortions except for medical reasons. These include serious defects, certain lethal genetic syndromes and/or if continuing the pregnancy would greatly endanger the mother’s life. If a bio father wishes to establish a relationship with his child and there is no history of abuse? The law should grant him that right and both parents should be equally penalized if they neglect their responsibilities, financial or otherwise.

With regards to Planned Parenthood? They provide valuable services but the fact remains that they’ve been caught selling fetal remains to known traffickers. It wouldn’t be problematic if said remains were used exclusively for medical purposes and it was disclosed to the public.
