Do you support the right of Israel to exist?

===================

I do support the right of Israel to exist. But I also support the right of Palestine to exist.

I believe this article explains my stance much better than I could personally:

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/a-zionist-case-for-boycotting-israel/2015/10/23/ac4dab80-735c-11e5-9cbb-790369643cf9_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.7122ff1d992f

The Jewish Virtual Library’s definition of Zionism is disturbingly close to the “Fourteen Words” slogan of the white supremacists:

JVL: “…the return of the Jewish people to their homeland and the resumption of Jewish sovereignty…”

White Nationalists: "We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.“

I’m just saying.

Word.

Indeed:

Same language used by the Nazis. Can we all just agree that extremism and exceptionalism are both bad?

And are not just limited to NeoNazis? Every group has its extremists.

1) HOW is that language similar to the 14 words

2) the “Baruch Levy” letter is a forgery, but ofc conspiracy theory obsessed nuts like you would obviously fall for it and I bet you idiots believe the Protocols are real

3) how fucking dare you compare Jews to nazis

Jews can be fascists too. And the Jewish people who want to annhiliate the Palestinians should be compared to any other hate groups. And they exist, whether you want to admit it or not. Vice News recently did a segment on them. There’s a group within Israel that other Israelis consider a terrorist hate group, much like Neo-Nazis. They just turn their hate on people who aren’t Jewish. So how are they different?

Thank you for sharing the fact that the letter is a forgery. I stand corrected on that. But until we address the elephant in the room regarding extremists within Judaism AND Christianity, we can never find peace. Muslims are not the only religious groups with hate filled extremists. Even the Buddhists have theirs. I don’t say these things to gloss over the thousands of years of oppression and hate directed at the Jewish people. My husband’s family had to flee first Russia, then Portugal, to find some sense of security in Jamaica. Some became Pirates who freed slave ships, while others entered the slave trade. Am I supposed to overlook them just because they were Jewish? Does their Jewish heritage make it okay to own slaves? No. It doesn’t. And that’s why I say what I say now. Extremists who want to hurt/oppress/kill anyone outside their group should be called out. No one should be able to hide behind their ancestors’ hardships and heinous mistreatment while doing the same to others. PERIOD.

It’s all lies! No, it isn’t:

“Goyim were born only to serve us. Without that, they have no place in the world – only to serve the People of Israel…In Israel, death has no dominion over them…With gentiles, it will be like any person – they need to die, but [God] will give them longevity. Why? Imagine that one’s donkey would die, they’d lose their money. This is his servant… That’s why he gets a long life, to work well for this Jew. Why are gentiles needed? They will work, they will plow, they will reap. We will sit like an effendi and eat…That is why gentiles were created.” – Rabbi Ovadia Yosef
