“Harry does matter. He won’t ever be as irrelevant/boring”- It’s hard for newbies to get, but Andrew in the early-mid ’80s was more popular than Harry is today. If they don’t believe merching, excessive traveling/holidaying, and a scandalous marriage can destroy a once very popular spare then they should take a peek at Andrew and Margaret. Spares don’t have permanent charm shields around them, when their looks fade and their scandals pile up, then the public becomes very sour on them.
