Mexican Black Kingsnake (Lampropeltis mexicana nigrita)

  • Mexican Black King Snakes are common snakes kept as pets. They are a beautiful solid black colored snake and generally are very docile
  • Mexican Black King Snakes can be found in Southern Arizona, Western Sonora and Northwestern Sinaloa, Mexico
  • Mexican Black King Snakes are between 8-12 inches as hatchlings and can reach 3-5 feet as adults. Females tend to be larger than the males
  • King Snakes can live up to 20 years in captivity
