André Balazs, owner of Standard Hotel

Very interesting because: André Balazs, owner of Chateau Marmont and the Chiltern Firehouse in London, accused of groping. His properties are where the celebs and young Royals hang out.

André Balazs Properties currently consists of eight hotels across the US. The luxury group comprises The Mercer Hotel in New York City; Chateau Marmont in Hollywood; Chiltern Firehouse in London and Sunset Beach on Shelter Island. The Standard hotels include: The Standard, Hollywood; The Standard, Downtown LA; The Standard Spa, Miami Beach; The Standard, High Line, Meatpacking District; and The Standard, East Village.

In his early years, Balazs worked at Biomatrix, a New Jersey based bio-tech company founded by his father.

If you read that link you’ll see that he has deep connections to London, the Royal family, Paddle8, Hollywood.

We also have a number of posts on Chateau Marmont just before the Las Vegas shooting…

According to the FT, he left the management board of the Standard Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse, though still keeps a 20% sharehold.

Operations at Standard International will continue to be led by Amar Lalvani, the managing director and a long-time collaborator and hotel industry veteran.

Amar Lalvani

Amar Lalvani served as Global Head of Luxury & Lifestyle Brand Development of Hilton Hotels Corporation since June 2008. Mr. Lalvani joined Hilton from Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide where, he served as its Senior Vice President responsible for the development of Starwood’s Luxury Brands, which include W Hotels Worldwide, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and The Luxury Collection. Mr. Lalvani also served as Global Head of W Development, leading the expansion of W Hotels worldwide, including successfully launching W Hotels in the Europe, Africa & Middle East regions. Prior to Starwood, Mr. Lalvani served as an Associate of The Blackstone Group’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He has also held positions at Starwood Capital Group LLC and Jefferies & Company.

Hilton and Starwood Settle Dispute

A month later, Starwood sued Hilton, Mr. Klein and Mr. Lalvani, accusing them of stealing more than 100,000 documents containing Starwood’s “most competitively sensitive information.” Starwood also claimed that the theft had been condoned by the highest levels of Hilton management.

So in the hotel wars there seems to be a more interesting story beneath the surface. Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, LLC is a subsidiary of Marriott International.

Marriott International we strongly suspect of having deep CIA links and a portfolio which leads us to Comet Ping Pong. Oakwood Worldwide and a possible link with the CIA , and their partnership with the Marriott International who work with the Clintons in Haiti, and their real estate portfolio which includes properties in DC.

Then there’s also Lalvani’s connection with the Blackstone Group. Meghan Markle, the Royal Family and Paddle8 (Soho House) which leads to the Child Mind Institute and Dyncorp and Ronald Bernard. BlackRock Inc owns the largest share in the biggest 299 companies in the world. BlackRock owner Larry Fink was a partner with Steve Schwarzman who now runs Blackstone…

Blackstone and BlackRock Are Getting Into Each Other’s Business Steve Schwarzman and Larry Fink, once partners, now vie for Wall Street dominance atop their wildly successful firms.

and..this…James Alefantis lived at the SAME address as Randall Rothschild who was Managing Director of “Blackstone”

I’m with you Butters. Certain high-end hotels apparently double as honeytraps. The key is to look into the public figures that frequent them. There were some disturbing details about Branson’s private island among other things…
