I have got a question that keeps bothering me and I wondered if you had any answers or if you’d heard anything from any of your sources Gator. I totally agree that SH really is hanging on for dear life and just won’t go, but do you know what is scaring Benedict so much that he keeps chickening out and letting her stay? If marvel has removed all the legal obstacles, I can’t work out what else there could be to frighten him out of leaving so many times. I’ve never seen a man hate a situation as much as he does this sham, yet something is scaring him enough to make him stay in it. There must be a HUGE threat hanging over him for him to choose to stay in something he loathes so much, rather than end it – and I just wondered if you had any theories or info of what it most likely is.

At this point? I have no idea. The only thing I can think of that’s keeping him in is the fear that the truth will all come out. And that is silly, for two reasons:
1. If it does get out? He can spin it. Seriously. Harvey threatened his career and Zero and her crew threatened his life and the lives of his loved ones. He didn’t know what to do until Marvel stepped in to help end it.
2. If he’s smart (and proactive), he can let Marvel handle the announcement and spin and it’s all taken care of. Remember Jeremy Renee’s ex? What was she saying? Oh, that’s right…no one remembers!
If it’s his pride keeping him in at this point? That’s even more pathetic. “Pride comes before a fall” is a cliche for a good reason. Besides, no one in the Industry believes he has any pride left, the way he’s mishandled Zero and his career since she showed up. Swallow that tiny bit of pride and act like a grown ass adult. He will feel MUCH better, immediately. Otherwise? He’ll end up choking on his pride. People always do. (I’ve been there myself…with a narc, in fact.).
By adopting a victim mentality BC has become his own worst enemy. He has to take back his power and draw on all his strength to free himself. Like I said before he needs to fight as if his life depends on it because it does. Be your own hero Ben, Team Soso can’t win unless you let them. You have many resources at your disposal so think strategically and use them to the best of your ability. Remember that you have a lot of people behind you 😉 …
