Please remember that her husband made billions from home foreclosures which bilked the poor, the elderly and middle-class homeowners out of their hard-earned savings. Then, he parlayed those billions into a hedge fund, which he used to get into Hollywood.
His hedge fund, Dune Capital Partners, started out by providing financing for major movies, beginning in the early 2000’s (if memory serves), then he branched out into producing movies under the Dune Entertainment label (now known as Ratpac-Dune Entertainment).
