It doesn’t matter how they feel about Moran personally. She’s press and covers BBC stuff for the Times. Sometimes, you just gotta deal at work lol. Insofar as the movie goes, it’s an interesting premise imo, which is all they will probably use. The rest will be altered so it fits a movie format like they did with The Road. It’s more likely the author is a producer and Variety’s matching software—a lot of mags use this save on time and writing staff–mistake wasn’t caught.

Note to The Times: Hire professionals. Real ones. As far as the MH adaptation? The premise is fine but the source material itself is sub-par. The screenwriter is going to have to work OT to end up with a workable version…
