I have a link, government is cracking down on IG promotional posting, they have sent out warnings to the Kardashians etc, # isn’t going to cut it anymore, celebs need to be saying they are endorsing a product, service in exchange or compensation/product or both. It’s only fair play, it’s tax evasion, sneaky way of making money.
If you win a car, you have to pay taxes on it, the same principle applies to the internet promotions.

I agree but there’s more to it. It’s especially problematic when those endorsements are a cover for something shady. Like those Insta-hookers who flash coach bags stuffed with Benjamins after “promoting Diet Tea in Dubai” etc.
