A more detailed explanation is in my archive for August 2015. Basically, I was informed and verified with other sources, that Benedict starting using “helpers” in Fall of 2014, when he was filming RIII AND flying back and forth to/from the U.S. for awards season. After Sophie pulled the engagement stunt, he started relying on drugs (I heard cocaine and “pills”) to deal with Sophie. Even worse? I was told that Sophie encouraged and may have even fed him drugs. After the “baby bump” reveal at PSFF, it turned to a full blown addiction. (Remember the Oscars? ) It was so bad that friends and family tried to stage an intervention when they were in China, but it failed. Luckily, after the Father’s Day pram debacle and Hamlet rehearsals started, he asked for help. By the time Hamlet opened, he was out of in house rehab and in the recovery stage. And he’s been clean since, at least as far as I have been told.
I sure as hell hope so…
