SH did it through UTA IMO. In the UK she was under control, in NYC where UTA has one of it’s main offices? She probably tried to get BC to go along and shill more than he was comfortable with. He resisted, so she called up UTA and complained that she couldn’t do it alone. Remember that UTA’s rep is riding on the ShamWow too because they enabled SH’s nonsense instead of shutting her down. So UTA told BC to be a good sport and that it’s in his own best interest to keep the Fail Train rolling along. This is clearly not true but they don’t want to lose clients over their incompetence. So BC agrees to one papwalk with stroller for damage control and a set visit. He had no idea that SH had other plans…
I just don’t understand why PR are letting a *no mark* like SH, call the shots, she should have been kicked to the curb the day after PSIFF2015!
SH blindsided everyone at PSIFF so UTA went on full damage control mode. After that it was one compromise after another because HW didn’t want his hand in this mess to be too obvious. Think about it, if the truth comes out (it will and soon) I predict that many clients will be switching to other agencies. UTA will lose a lot of business, so this is not to protect BC’s long term interests. This idiocy is meant to keep BC’s rep afloat for a bit longer but when it sinks? They say rats are the first to abandon ship…
