I love it how Benedict could do SD tonight, but couldn’t do it for the matinee show this afternoon, when I was there. He was too busy being “a young father to his kid”, as the guy at SD said to all of the disappointed fans.
So, he’s a young father to his kid for like, 2 hours in the afternoon on occasion, but can stay out late at night and sign autographs for fans then?
I guess it’s just easier to parent your kid for 2 hours when you can’t leave the theater anyway (not enough time to get home btw shows), but not at night.

I was there too. Didn’t the guy say BC needed to sleep? Or did I mishear? We left after he said that, so maybe I missed the father to his kid part. But seriously? When Tennant didn’t do signing for matinees of RII they didn’t say anything but that he wouldn’t come out. Why is is it with BC they need to bang on about his family??? Jeez, give it a rest.
Haven’t we learned by now that the ShamWow is still in operation? He’s using Pillow/Stunt-pher as the default excuse to pacify the stannies because he simply doesn’t feel like doing stage door. I don’t blame him as Hamlet is draining but it has nothing to do with caring for a kid. If this was real (it isn’t) he’d have a live-in nanny for sure. He and his SO wouldn’t lose any sleep because someone else would be raising the kid for them. Maybe you should slow down with the speed dating and/or going on leisurely strolls with female ‘friends’ BC. He needs to cut the BS and stick to “I’m tired. I’ll do SD when I’m up to it. Sorry.”
