Land the leading role in an upcoming major Hollywood blockbuster: False. DS was pre-ShamWow 2014. Get married: True, but in this case it’s like Capital Punishment. Become an expectant father: True…and false ;). Get an oscar nomination: True, but the campaign was so OTT you could argue that it hurt his chances at winning. In other words he would have gotten a nom sans ShamWow. Recite poetry at a 500 year old king’s reburial: True, and he also managed to look more lifeless than his relative many times removed. Have his indie movie (TIG) cross the $220 million mark: True, but it could have been more. Lots of ‘Bargain Bin’ TIG DVDs in stores here. Earn his 6th BAFTA nomination: True but no show. Why? Become a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire: True. but rumors started last year. It had to do with Turing campaign IMO. EM etc. may have helped him get an upgrade though.
