The Velvet Mafia is a group of LBGTQ people who work together to do all sorts of nefarious things. Many of them are in entertainment. If she was working with Eddie Redmayne and his backers to ruin Benedict, it would make sense that the Velvet Mafia would be involved.

I always wondered why SoFail seemed to be getting some sort of help from the Soho House folks. Markus has the goods on a lot of people which comes in handy. Then I remembered that Markus and Eddie are BFFs and it all made sense. Ironically, SoFail was hired as RCGF to improve BC’s chances of landing the Oscar but it seems that at some point she sided with Eddie to get BC to capitulate. Talk about playing both sides…
