Matthew Doull is an Investment Banker and nephew of Conrad Black. He co-founded BDA Partners with fellow UK expat and MI6 asset Euan Rellie. Euan Rellie is still heading BDA Partners and was well acquainted with Weinstein, Epstein, Maxwell and, of course, Sophie Hunter. BDA Partners focuses heavily in the Asian markets. They have many offices throughout Asia and Doull ran the one out of Hong Kong up until late last year, allegedly. He is now said to work for a different firm out of NYC. Given their long history together I find his recent departure from BDA Partners to be both curious and timely. We believe that Euan is one of SoFail’s Handlers and backers, he has close ties to moneyed UK expats in Hong Kong via Doull and due to the nature of his business. They are Tatler fodder…
