Missing 411

Out of the thousands of missing people each year, dozens go missing in state parks. You might think there are easy explanations for the disappearances but for many, there aren’t. In fact, just the opposite. The disappearances seem a slap in the face of logic:

– Most of the missing are never recovered. Those that are recovered alive tend to be children who are too young to talk, children who are mentally disabled or handicapped and thus can’t tell of their experiences, and children who have amnesia and have no memories of their experience.

– Clothing and other items are found in the opposite direction from which the remains are found, in the few cases where the remains are found. It’s like someone is purposefully trying to deceive people by leaving a trail of personal belongings far away from where the body actually is.

-Clothing is often found in an extremely bizarre fashion, something which would occur if the person just vanished in the blink of the eye and the clothing just fell to the earth, talking about socks in shoes, pants on top of shoes, shirt on top of pants.

-People have disappeared while only being feet away from another person or merely going out of sight for mere seconds. In one case a family was walking up a hill. A female family member was walking faster and made it up and over the hill just seconds before the family did. When the family made it over the hill they were shocked that the woman was nowhere in sight. She was never recovered and is presumed dead. In another case a man literally watched a boy disappear. The boy was accompanying him and decided to return to camp. There was a clear line of sight from their location all the way to camp. Halfway there the man turned his attention briefly to something he was working on, talking seconds, and the boy was just gone.

-Many of the children who are recovered, and remember they usually are too young to talk or can’t tell of what happened to them, are found naked and barefoot with no sign of injuries to the soles of their feet. If they had been walking around barefoot in the wilderness they surely would have cuts and sores on their feet.

-In many cases Park authorities either try to hinder any researchers from having access to files on the disappearances or lie and claim that no such files exist. In other circumstances they want an absurd amount of money, even up to over a million dollars, before releasing the files. In at least one case the Park authorities and I think the police refused to release case files even though the disappearance was not ruled as a homicide. Even the intervention of a senator have not been successful in getting the files release. When the parents of the missing girl asked for the files they too were told no. Luckily, a few Park employees have acted as whistle blowers and tipped of the author of weird goings-on in state parks across the country.

-One girl who was recovered after being missing for days had no memory of her experience only except that a wolf took care of her. The girl showed no signs of starvation or dehydration.
