You also have to consider possible Thallium poisoning in Benedict’s case given the murderous people he was surrounded by. It’s important to note that some people respond to extreme stress by micromanaging their diet. They feel like that’s the only part of their lives that they have any control over. If this goes on too long they can decompensate into a full blown Eating Disorder. A vegan diet is particularly inadequate for Benedict because he’s both hypermetabolic and suffers from EDS. I’m tired of ignoramuses pushing one-size-fits-all fad diets and knowingly endangering the health of others 😡.
