The thing at bugs me is that S really does have potential. She could be the “English rose” they’re trying to make her. She has the look, all she needs is an acting class and someone to put her in her place about that attitude.

Schooling won’t give you talent sweets. It will develop latent potential so it’s pretty obvious SH is…deficient. Another more capable person with her opportunities would have already carved a nice niche for herself.
