BC is delusional. His image and appeal are completely different from Clooney’s, he requires a different PR strategy. I think part of this image change is true, but given how disjointed the narrative was I still believe that most of it was damage control as a result of SH going off script. BC probably figured he’d pull a Clooney after the fact, in order to spin his mistake into something that would help his career. Thing is, it’s NOT working. In fact it’s having the opposite effect because his fauxmance ‘co-star’ has quite a past and has proven to be a tremendous liability. Amal on the otherhand is an asset to Clooney, even with regards to his political aspirations. Even if BC chose a spouse with a less impressive career, it would have to be someone who is well-grounded, with a sense of humor to play against his own and most importantly whose reputation is spotless.
